Illustration Designs
I studied Illustration Design for my undergraduate degree, and here are some of the illustrations I’ve created.
In The Cloud
I created this surrealist illustration series in 2023 for my undergraduate thesis. It depicts an imaginary world in the clouds, featuring a mix of animals and humans. The series is characterized by vibrant colors and whimsical scenes, bringing a playful and imaginative touch to the surreal concept.
In The Heights
I created this series of illustrations in 2022 for my junior thesis. The illustration series based on the musical In The Heights, which explores the emotional conflicts of a group of Latinos living in Washington Heights, New York. They migrate from their home countries seeking a better life but face challenges like low income, discrimination, and nostalgia. However, despite these hardships, they find a sense of belonging in Washington Heights, where the community supports and cares for one another, making it their home.
Silkscreen And Book-Making
I created two screenprinted books: Map Of My Soul and Fall In The Fall. I designed every page and printed them out layer by layer.
Risograph And Book-Making
I created a Risograph printed book: Lynn's Dive Diary. I designed every page and printed them out layer by layer.
Stop Motion & Claymation
I created the stop motion and claymation titled The Apple during my freshman year of undergraduate study. I photographed each scene and compiled them into an animation.
